Brett then plunges us into the chilling personal narratives of a dystopian war that feels eerily plausible, particularly in a world still reeling from the Covid era. This isn't your run-of-the-mill zombie fiction, it's the gripping, end-times narrative of World War Z. (If it was not already clear, we're dissecting the BOOK here, not its less-than-stellar cinematic counterpart.)
